Replacement bra straps are removable fabric shoulder straps that attach to standard bras with hook-style fasteners. They serve two purposes: replacing worn or stretched-out straps on an existing bra, or changing the look of a bra by swapping in a different color or pattern strap.

How do replacement bra straps attach? Standard bras have detachable straps held in place with small metal hooks or loops at the back of the bra band and at the cup. Most replacement straps clip onto these same fittings — slide the loop end through the cup attachment, then hook the back end onto the band slider. Adjust the length the same way as the original strap.
Will replacement straps fit any bra? They fit any bra with standard detachable strap fittings — most modern bras have this. Some pull-over bralettes and one-piece sports bras have sewn-in straps that can’t be replaced. Check that the loops on your bra are open-ended (hook-style) rather than sewn closed before ordering replacement straps.
